We like to keep things pretty simple on Valentine's Day - no buying of elaborate gifts or fancy dinners for us. We do, however, like to acknowledge the day some way and while this year was simple, it was one of the best. There's nothing I love more than spending time with my best friend, my husband.
I had forgotten that Saint Valentine's relics were in a church in Dublin's city centre and was reminded by a friend last week. Hubs and I thought Valentine's day would be a good day to go see the relics, as it's the only day out of the year they put them out on display. The relics were gifted to the Whitefriar Street Church in 1835 by Pope Gregory XVI.

After seeing the relics, we stopped at a nearby coffee shop called The Bald Barista, which has, in my opinion, the best latte in Dublin. It's also the most reasonably priced!
My white mocha.... YUM! Not too sweet, piping hot, with good foam and a pretty design. What more can you ask for?
We headed home after ward for oven pizza and a movie double header of Dorain Gray (fantiastic!) and Pan's Labyrinth (4 stars).
All in all, just another day that I fell even more in love with my darling husband.
